MAD Goals - No Attitude Required

Hello Champion:

Calling all high performers.

Have you struggled to stick with your goals?

It’s all right - every successful person has been there.

We are here to bring you three simple steps that you can implement to assist you in achieving your objectives:

  1. Making a written plan about what you want to achieve

  2. Ensuring that your goals are specific, but not unrealistic

  3. Having an accountability partner

Ultimately, you need to dig deeper and ask …What is driving you to complete your goals?

In order to achieve your goals, it is important to remain consistent and hold yourself accountable. One way to hold yourself accountable is to remember your why. By creating a plan and reminding yourself of your why, you can create a system of accountability and positive habits.

That leads us to the next question…How should I design my goals?

One way to design goals is by developing M.A.D goals. This acronym is beneficial for creating goals that are realistic and specific. They are goals that are:

1. Measurable: create goals that can measure whether or not you accomplish it

2. Attainable: create goals that are realistic and possible to achieve

3. Deadline-driven: create goals that have a deadline in mind

What if you can’t motivate yourself to keep going?

To remain consistent in your habits, it is beneficial to get an accountability partner. Having someone assist you in maintaining discipline, consistency, and inspiration can be helpful in avoiding relapses and shortcomings in your goals. Who can be an accountability partner in your life?

Remember that establishing your why and creating a system of habits and accountability will help you succeed.
