Gratitude Can Change Circumstances

Hello Champion,

When the fast-paced and demanding schedule of your everyday life becomes overwhelming and defeating, how do you remind yourself to be grateful?

Gratitude has the power to change circumstances. It is a simple mindshift.

Be grateful for your health, your environment, and the individuals who make you YOU.

In times of failure, it is easy to forget all that is good, but this reminder is the single most important aspect in success and maintaining a positive mentality.

After losing what could be the last match of her career, Serena Williams only had love to spread for those who built her into the woman and player she is today.

Serena devotes her final words to her sister.

“I wouldn’t be Serena if there wasn’t Venus, so thank you, Venus. She is the only reason that Serena Williams ever existed.”

The true value of success only has meaning if you have others to share it with. Champions don’t walk alone.

So, the next time you find yourself consumed with stressors and weighed down by failures, we challenge you to walk yourself through these steps:

  1. Speak aloud three people, moments, or sensations you are grateful for.

  2. Sit in the feeling and recognize its value.

  3. Fill your space with appreciation, and push past the temporary negativities.
